Lorna A. Walker, Ph.D. holds a Doctorate Degree in Nutrition Education with a concentration in Nutritional Biochemistry. She obtained a B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science and worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist before pursuing her Doctorate in the nutrition field. Dr. Walker has been a nutritional advisor for The Hypoglycemia Support Foundation since 1980. She is listed in Who's Who of American Women - 1983, Who's Who in the World - 1984, The International Who's Who of Intellectuals - 1985, Foremost Women of the Twentieth Century, International Who's Who in Medicine, and many other biographical publications for her work in the field of nutrition. Dr. Walker was the technical editor for the book "Hypoglycemia for Dummies" - 2nd Edition.
As a contributing healthcare professional to Health Talk Live from 2012 to 2019, both online and via syndicated radio, Dr. Walker shared her extensive knowledge of nutrition with the public. Dr. Walker was the Administrator and Nutritionist for The Center for Gastrointestinal Disorders in Hollywood, Florida from November 1998 to June 2018. She is Board Certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in Medical Laboratory Science and is Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition® (BCHN®) by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals.
Dr. Walker currently practices in Prescott, Arizona.
